Mike is a registered and certified lead auditor, with many years audit experience of audit of small, medium and major corporations.

Mike is a vocational education trainer and assessor and a certified trainer for the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB).

He is the CEO/Director of Compass Assurance Training and MGTD Pirii (RTO: 88194) which specialises in the delivery of the business services training packages, including auditing, leadership and management, WHS, project management and many others.

He is also the WA state manager of Compass Assurance Services providing Certification Services to business across WA.

Mike has a special interest in the areas of Risk Management (especially in relation to the ISO31000 risk management – principles and guidelines) and its application to the new suite of standards (ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015) and especially in regards to the proposed ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety management system requirements.
