 Workshop 2:
“Up safety Creek” – Managing Emergency Response

What would you do if you received the call that most OSH practitioners’ nightmares are made of? A critical incident, workers injured – perhaps even deaths and subsequent dealings with the police, unions, media, next of kin and regulatory inspectors who may well be knocking at your door.

How would you respond?  Do you know how to manage and balance the risks?  Do you know what the risks are? Do you know the possible implications and legality of your immediate actions?

Join us for an interactive panel session where our industry experts will explore a real safety scenario and discuss useful steps to manage the safety related risks from a practical, legal, commercial, public relations and personal welfare perspective – protecting you and your organisation’s liability.
Target audience:  This session is designed for safety practitioners, managers and legal counsel who want to know what to do – when you find yourself ‘up safety creek’.
