SIA NT – OHS Breakfast Seminar: Process Safety

On behalf of the Safety Institute of Australia, we invite you to Join us on Wednesday 3rd May 2017 at the DoubleTree Hilton for a breakfast seminar, where guest speaker Jeff Weldon head of Safety at Charles Darwin University will be presenting on the topic of Process Safety.

Within this session Jeff will explore the various aspects of Process safety, focusing on the blend of engineering and management skills which are needed to prevent catastrophic accidents and near misses, structural collapses, explosions, fires and toxic releases associated with loss of containment of energy or dangerous substances such as chemicals and petroleum products.

This session will also question if engineering and management skills exceed those required for managing workplace safety.
