WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe) is required to review and remake the OHS and EPS Regulations by this date.
Public comment is now invited on the proposed OHS and EPS Regulations, and Regulatory Impact Statement until close of business on Friday 9 September 2016. Find out more information about the review here.
We encourage all Victorian SIA members to share their views by providing comment to the proposed documents using the attached Word document template returning it to the Victorian Branch at vcomsia@gmail.com before COB Friday 2nd September.
If you missed out on Worksafe’s information sessions to inform the key changes proposed in the OHS and EPS Regulations and how to make a submission, the SIA has invited WorkSafe to offer one final session, depending on the level of interest.
The free session will be followed by an opportunity for members to provide feedback/contribute to the SIA submission.

The SIA Victorian Branch will compile the comments received into a final document which we will lodge on behalf of the Victorian membership. Submissions can address any or all of the sections and can include any evidence, examples or case studies that you think may be relevant. The editors will include as many relevant comments as possible in the final submission. Remember participation in this review can be counted towards your CPD.
The SIA submission does not prevent anyone from making their own submission.
